A little while back I was listening to my normal morning radio show when they started talking about Panera’s “hidden power menu”. These are different food options lower in carbs and fat and high in protein. I checked it out and decided today to try to order one. The girl had no idea what I was talking about, but she got the manager and he said they absolutely have it. This is the steak lettuce wrap. It has 280 calories, 7 g of carbs and 28 g of protein. Perfect for low carb day! They also have a chicken hummus bowl, two different Mediterranean salads, and two breakfast bowls with eggs, veggies and steak or chicken. I love that Panera is doing this for those of us not wanting lunch laden with bread and smothered with cheese!
